About Shea Nemeth
Shea is a Toronto-based illustrator known for her gouache paintings and contemporary, whimsical style. Through the use of storytelling and familiar imagery, her work creates an intimate, relatable and bittersweet experience. She mostly focuses on flat colour, clean lines, and minimalist compositions. Inspired by childhood memories, classic cartoons and animations, she hopes to invoke feelings of nostalgia and sentimentality, and encourage the viewer to reflect on and treasure those moments that they hold dear. Her work can be seen as painted illustrations, murals and merchandise.
