About Shea Nemeth

Shea is a Toronto-based illustrator known for her contemporary, gouache paintings. Through the use of ordinary objects, animal and forest imagery, she aims to create an intimate, relatable and bittersweet experience. Inspired by Canadian wildlife, childhood memories, classic cartoons and animations, she hopes to invoke feelings of nostalgia and sentimentality, and encourages you to reflect on and treasure those moments that you hold dear. Her work can be seen as painted illustrations, murals, ceramics and merchandise.
