In “Sweet Nothings,” Shea Nemeth shares brief glimpses of her own heartfelt and bittersweet memories and experiences. Drawing inspiration from classic cartoons, animations and children’s books, her painted illustrations evoke a sense of nostalgia and sentimentality. Through relatable imagery, Shea aspires to create shared intimate moments that stir up one’s own personal recollections and encourages the viewer to treasure and hold dear those fleeting moments.
